How is Oedipus' search for truth culminate?

-The truth is something that everyone wants to know because it provides peace of mind,
reasssurance, and knowledge of what actually matters and what is superficial. Oedipus
searched for truth for a very long time but due to his pride, he remained blind to his own
connection to the dire plague that infected Thebes. Teiresias told Oedipus the truth but
Oedipus chose to not trust the word of Teiresias.
What drives Jocasta to kill herself?
-Jocasta felt disgusted in herself because she is the mother of Oedipus but have a relationship
and worst, they have their children. Before she died, she locked herself in a room and is crying
for king Laius. Later she committed suicide.
What drive Oedipus to hurt himself?
-Oedipus tried his best to avoid his fate that he will kill his father and marry his mother that's
why he left the place he had grown up because he thought that his parents are Polybus and
Merope. He blinded himself because he was blind to all the warnings, he refused to see it.
That's why in the end, he decided to blind himself.

-Because Oedipus had answered her riddle.
