Home is the only place where I am most comfortable to spend my day.

Home is the place I look

forward to after my classes ended, not the shopping malls nor park. Although our home is relatively
small and only one story, not the kind of house you would see on Pinterest, I see it as a castle. It has one
bathroom, a kitchen, one room, living room. Our house is painted pink, which my mother insisted on my
father who gladly obliged.

The place I love to stay the most in our house is our living room. The living room is the center
attraction of our house, once you go inside, you would immediately notice different paintings bought by
my mother. Four paintings of horses, the last supper, and two paintings of an identical flower in its vase,
the color of its petals are the only difference. I would lay down on the couch while listening to the songs
played on the smart TV as I am surfing the internet. My most favorite part is the Wi-Fi because our
modem is placed in our living room as well. It is where I took a nap after doing all my assignments
because again, the computer and printer are just beside the TV. My family would gather there as well to
either talk about our days or eat. On the other hand, our bathroom is my next favorite. I could consume
three hours inside without barely doing anything. I always sat on the toilet to stare at the pink wall to
contemplate my decisions in life then be grateful whenever I felt that my intelligent decisions outweigh
the dumb decisions I made for that day in the scale or if not, I cry because of regrets. Our bathroom is
where I could pour my emotions because I do not want to be seen by my Mother. Also, I would
showcase my non- existent talent for singing and dancing there while I am taking a bath. I could be the
craziest and hopeless person inside our bathroom

We do not have to be rich to build one, start from the bottom then slowly ascend. I am already
contented with ours. Home is what reminds me that no matter where I am, my family will always be
waiting for my arrival because home is built by the memories I shared with them.
