COMPUTER HARDWARE

A computer system is made up of major two components. They are Computer Hardware and
Computer Software. There is nothing else in a computer system except hardware anad software. There
should be co-operation between hardware and software to perform any task by a computer. A
computer cannot function in the absence of any of its components.

Hardware are the physical parts of the computer which make up the complete computer system
whereas software are the logical parts that direct the hardware what to do and how to do.

You can compare the hardware to your physical parts of the body and software to the knowledge
in your mind. Your body parts can be seen and touched but your knowledge in your mind cannot be
touched and seen.
