Analysis of Artwork

My artwork is a cloud with pouring rainbow. For me when I made my artwork, it

signifies the happenings in my life, that even though there are cloudy days there could also be a

beautiful outcome from it. In fact, it also describes who I am, because I personally love rainy

days and when it is rainy we expect lots of clouds and since I like rainy days I appreciate and see

the beauty in it.

The analysis of my artwork would be the elements of design, there are only two elements

included in my artwork which is the line and color. The first element which is line, the type of

line that I used is the contour lines which define exterior shapes to express volume. The next

element is the color, since there is a rainbow the color that could be seen in my artwork is

roygbiv and also a touch of black and white for the details.

In analysis of my artwork I also considered the principles of design, there is only one

principle that was considered which is the balance specifically the type of balance which is

symmetrical balance since the parts are not scattered along the axis.
