Introduction

Pyrimidine are 6-membered heterocyclic ring compounds

compounds of N and C.A large number of hetrocyclic compounds
are essential to life various compound such as alkaloid antibiod
antibiotics,essential compound vitamins, haemoglobin hormones
synthetic drugs and dyse contain heterocyclic ring structure.
Some of hetrocyclic compounds are shown like
Benzoxzole,Benzimidazole,1,2 dipyridine. They are building block
of numerous natural compounds form antibiotic to vitamins &
liposcaharides. Pyrimidine are bases of RNA and DNA and
pyrimidine in which cost abundant bring cytosine, thyminem,or
unacil.

The systematic study of pyrimidine begin 1884 with pinner. Pinner

first proposed the name pyrimidine in 1885.The term from
compared two term pyridine and amidine. Because the structural
similarity to these compound [1].Some of naturally used drug
agriculture chemical. Few pyrimidine are used as in structural
chemical for other purpose. The obvious applications of
compounds derived from hetrocyclic ring in pharmacy, medicine
agriculture and other fields. A wide spectrum of pharmacological
activities has been responded from there compounds. These
includes ulcer antimicrobial, anticancer, antivirus, anti tuberculm,
antifungal,anti infummateny, analysis and antiproliferative
activities. Pyrimidine derivative also possess wid range of
pharmacological action on central nervous system specially on
anti-HIV agents and cyclooxygenase (Cux) inhibitor and ability the
bacterial enzymes MurB. The pyrimidine ring is found in vitamin
like thymine ,Riboflavin and folic acid(2).there are large number
of pyrimidine based antimetabolites. One of the early metabolites
prepared was 5-fluoro uracil(5Fu)[3],5 thiouracil also exibit some
useful anti neoplastic activities [4].5-idodeoxyuridine(IDU)[5] is an
anti viral agent of high selectivity. brodimorprim is also found to
be an effective anti bacterial compound[6] Pyrimidine derivative
of sulfa drugs such as sulfadiazine, sulfamerazine sulfadimidine
and the earliest in the pharmaceuticals antioxidants, anti diabetes
and insulin enhancers.
