December 12, 2020 Doctors first noticed a Chinese

patient display symptoms of highly
infectious coronavirus.
December 31, 2019 FIRST RECOGNISED by the World
Health Organisation’s (WHO) China office
which heard the first reports of a
previously-unknown virus behind a
number of pneumonia cases in Wuhan, a
city in Eastern China with a population of
over 11 million.
January 11th 2020 Chinese state media reported the first known
death from an illness caused by the virus.
The 61 year old who died was a regular
customer at the market at wuhan
January 19th 2020 The virus by now had spread to other
countries and on this day a case was first
recorded by the United States.
January 22rd 2020 Wuhan a city of more than 11 million was
cut of by Chinese authorities.
January 30th 2020 The first case in India was confirmed in
Kerala.
February 1st 2020 India evacuated 324 Indians from Wuhan.

March 3rd 2020, The Indian government suspended the

issuing of new visas and visas already issued
for nationals of Italy, Iran, South Korea, and
Japan.
March 4th 2020 The government announced a compulsory
screening of all international passengers.

March 5th 2020 On 5 March, amidst a surge in fresh cases

being confirmed in Delhi and NCR, the
 delhi government announced that all
primary schools across Delhi would be shut
until 31st March as a precaution.

March 11th 2020 The world health organistation has declared

coronavirus as a pandemic. The issue has
culminated into many countries declaring
public health emergencies for eg. in many
states of the united states. the number of
cases have snowballed to 60 in all over
india. The number is expected to rise all
over the world as there are no remedies to
control the virus except quarantines. Kerala
shuts schools and cinemas till 31st as the
number of people infected with virus
escalate to 17. Further the government has
issued notification by virtue of which all
regular visas (including e-visas) which have
been granted to nationals of France,
Germany and Spain on or before 11.03.2020
and where these foreigners have not yet
entered India stands suspended,
