There's nothing that could be more exciting than graduating in high school and going to college.
Getting into college is as thrilling as going to a roller coaster ride. I can feel the excitement before riding
it but it can't be fun unless I am willing to enjoy it. Just like a roller coaster ride, college can be fun as
long as I approach it with the right attitude and I am willing to enjoy every moment of it. Getting into
college is just once in a lifetime so I want to make the most of it. Throughout this journey, I know that it
will also train me to be job-ready in the future because coping up to college life requires a lot of good
qualities that jobs are also looking for.

Coping up with college life requires me to have self-discipline because it gives me the power to
stick to my decisions and follow them through without changing my mind as long as it is right, and as
long as it would benefit me as a person. It makes me responsible in doing things and making decisions
which will lead me to improvement and success. Moreover, having self-discipline is also knowing what
my limits are and what my priorities are. It also teaches me to be detail oriented and organized all the
time. Therefore, one of the requirements of coping up to college life to achieve a goal is having a self-
discipline. But having self-discipline is not enough to survive college. To be able to survive college, I must
be hard-working. They say that hard work is the key to success but I don't agree with that. Hard work
requires purpose and direction to be the key to success. I must know whatever that I am doing will lead
me to the right path. I must know what my purpose is. Hard work increases my strength, my capacity,
and my self confidence which will help me finish the given task and achieve my certain goal. I believe
that there is no shortcuts to success that's why I must be hard working. Hardwork makes me dedicated
and determined to whatever I am doing. Therefore, hardwork is a must in coping up with college life.
Lastly, I must have the skills like being good in subjects, in short I must be skilled in academics to be able
to cope up in college life. Nevertheless, I am willing to learn in areas that I don't know and I am also
willing to listen to whatever they will teach me.
