necessary to :

2. relocate the back rail felt (thicker one may be needed to keep the level)
calculated as per formula shown to the right 3. level the keys
4. ensure the action is regulated and the working position of the keys wil
remain the same after final assembly
5. adjust the height of the soft shift sliders to proper level
6. always verify these dimensions across the width of the key bed, they
should be the same.
7. If it is not possible to ensure the equal key tails height across the keyboard
Digital Calipers, set and fixed with the locking
take several measurements across the keyboard and set the bracket height
Fine adjustment wheel screw to the offset “D” mm distance
separately for each section to ensure best results.
Note: you can switch the readout any time
from millimeters to inches and vice versa
(It is a part of the supplied installer’s toolkit)
offset “D”
1. Set and lock the caliper to 7.0 mm (lost motion of 1mm) Insert the depth measuring rod into
Ç
2. Fully Insert the depth rod to the plastic nut bottom opening the plastic nut bottom opening
3. Observe the front of the key movement
4. The front of the key shall move
5. Repeat the procedure for all keys
Digital Calipers, set and fixed with the locking
If the front of the key is not moving at all, the lost motion screw to the 7.0 mm
travel is longer than 1mm. Adjust the rail height to get Note: you can switch the readout any time
lost motion less then 1mm. from millimeters to inches and vice versa
(It is a part of the supplied installer’s toolkit)
Note: This measurement and the 7mm test value is
expecting to have one standard foam insert inside the
plastic nut, resulting in overall inside space of 6mm.
Adjust this value accordingly to any other insert or
basic height used. So if the inside height of used insert Fine adjustment wheel lost motion travel
and nut is 8mm and allowed lost motion is 0.5mm
resulting test value will be 8mm+0.5mm=8.5mm. Plunger bottom face observed via the depth measurement rod
