During this activity, students will use the provided links to learn about the
different forms of government around the world. When this activity is over, the
student will be able to identify the 7 major forms of government, as well as give
an example of each.

Next, Please use this slidshow to go further in depth on each of the main forms of
government, and the most common types of each government system.

After watching the video and viewing the slideshow, in 3 or less sentences, please explain
which form of government you would use in your “Perfect World” and why.

Final Step.
For the final of this assignment, please go to My Maps. Once inside your map, use the
tool bar to plot points on different countries (or historical governments), each of these
countries should represent one of the forms of government you learned about today.
You should also include a Communist and a Socialist country on your map. In addition,
your points should include a brief description if each government.
