Potential Specific Qs for this role

● How would you grow the airline/ oil and gas industry for Crises Control?
● How would you use linkedin for marketing to generate new leads?

1. Building relationships is key for generating new leads on Linkedin.

Connect with relevant people in the industry to broaden your network of
potential leads. Identify things in common and potential problems those
people might face and that your product could solve. Do not try to sell
your product immediately. Try to build a relationship first, then
smoothly proceed to offering them valuable information that could be of
potential interest to them. Present your product.
2. Aim to be the number one information provider in your niche/sector.
Stay up to date with the latest technology updates, events or what is
happening around the world. In time of crisis like this one, COVID-19, it
is the best time to get your product out there and let people know how
crucial it is when these kind of events occur. Show how your products
helps people. Share relevant articles from your niche from experts.
3. Invest time in making your home-page as informative and user friendly
as possible. Video content is extremely beneficial for any business and
captures people attention.
4. Optimize the profile- make it SEO friendly, so that it is easily found by
search engines; update the ‘documents’ section with case studies and
relevant papers that potential leads would find interesting;
5. Respond to people, comment on posts, solve real-time problems. It
helps you get noticed on Linkedin and makes you trustworthy

● What do you think of our existing social media?

I found that Twitter generates the most likes and shares from all platform.
Moreover, it has the most likes and engagement compared to Facebook
and Linkedin. Being an instant message app, posting regularly and
engaging with relavant content is key for being noticed in such a ‘storm’ of
messages. I would personally make more use of hashtags, more research
of relevant hashtags and incorporate that into the strategy. Can also use
Twitter for conversation

Optimize the Facebook page by adding all the relevant information. For
Facebook, I would incorporate the ‘Download App’ button; keep content
informative and inspirational; Ask questions to engage with the audience;
make use of Facebook Ads to generate brand awareness or page likes or
promote your product. Share articles from relevant sources;

Have you Thought of using Instagram as well? You can use Hubspot’s
Strategy. Post about how your product made a difference to your
customers, how it helped them, reviews, relevant quotes and inspirational
messages from your industry;

Preparation

1. Know The Company. Use the below info to answer..

‘Why do you want to work at this company ?’ You need 5
reasons

● Why do you like the industry this company is in? Why would you want to
work in this industry?

I have always been interested in technology and innovation, I believe it is one

of the best industries to work in for a number of reason. One of the most
important, for me, is the fact that the work involved is meaningful to other
people and to society. I like knowing that the work I do makes a difference
and has a specific purpose. And that is exactly what technology does. It aims
to make people’s life easier, better and simpler.

● Review the Company website

● Be able to explain what the company does in ONE sentence

Provides and equips organisations with a reliable platform to communicate

with employers, stakeholders and response teams during crisis situations, in
order to facilitate the resilience processes and return to normal operations as
fast and efficient as possible. More adjectives

● Why do you like the company? (Big, small, start-up, company culture,
the people you would be working for, any awards they have won, an
inspiring founder)

One of the main reasons I would like to work for your company is the fact that
you are a fast growing and inspiring start-up company. Working in a big
company has its benefits, no doubt. However, being involved in a start up
outakes them. First of all, when you are working with a small team, you have
the opportunity to be exposed to more projects from the very start and take
on more responsibilities than in a big company, which in the end makes you
grow faster and gain valuable knowledge in a shorter time. Secondly, when
you work in a start-up, you feel that your efforts are valued and rewarded,
which increases your job satisfaction and desire to learn more and strive to
perform to your full potential.
Moreover, by reviewing the website and a number of customer reviews, I
understood that your work has such a huge impact on businesses, especially
to SME, as you’re offering a reliable, easy to use communication platform,
with a fast implementation process, at a very competitive price.

● Why do you like their product or service?

As I mentioned before, one of the things that motivates me in the workplace

is knowing that I make a positive impact on people’s lives. Crisis situations
are natural to happen and most of them cannot be avoided. But having a
solution that facilitates the resilience process is crucial for a company and
could save them large sums of money and customers. It helps people. It offers
a simple and effective solutions that can make a difference.

● What are their company values? Do you like them?

Continuous learning- from customers reviews, I learnt that they base their
product development on feedback from customers. I believe this is extremely
important, because, in the end, any product should satisfy customers needs.
If a business continuously shapes its development on this feedback, it has
higher changes of succeeding in this competitive industry.
Quality and Simplicity- provides high quality services, a simple to use design
and implementation feature; continuous support to customers;
“The only thing harder than planning for an emergency is explaining why you didn't when
THAT DAY comes"- business mission statement;- shows that they like to thik ahead

● Who are their main customers? Anyone you know, who is impressive/
inspires you?

By reviewing your website, I learnt that your product helps companies from a
variety of sectors, including Air cargo, Transport, healthcare, financial
services, government, schools or property. I was pleased to find out that you
have offered your services to companies like Total, Toyota or Genesis. I find
them all to be strong and reliable brands, with a reputation of delivering high
quality services to their customers. The fact that these companies chose your
product speaks for itself. It makes me understand that your product offering
is top class.

● Do they have any awards?

Corporate Excellence Awards 2020, Computing Cloud Excellence Awards

2019, Computing Cloud Excellence Awards 2019, Computing Cloud Excellence
Awards 2018, CIR Awards 2017, CIR Awards 2016

● Review their Facebook/Instagram/ Twitter/ Linkedin/ Blog. What type of

content are they pushing out? How many followers do they have?
What do you like about their content? What kind of interaction do they
have on their social media? Which channel is the most popular, and why
do you think this?

Mostly relevant information and company updates, awards they received etc.
Facebook: 117
Linkedin: 178
Twitter: 1050

● Review the company on Google/Trust Pilot/FeeFoo/FB Reviews. What

are their customers saying about them? Do they have good reviews?

Crisis control had excellent reviews on all platforms. Customers mostly

appreciate the fact that is very easy to use and set up compared to its
competitor, offering continuous support and good value for money, especially
for SMEs.

● Can you find out who their competition is? How do they compare?

Some competitors I found are: Pager Duty, Freshservice, Engage EHS Sofware
or VictorOps.

Better pricing for SME, offers them opportunity to use the platform even if
their budget is lower than in a big corporation; monthly subscription options

3. Knowing yourself (These are generic Qs you may find in any job interview)

● Prepare an answer to ‘Tell me about you’ should be a short paragraph

about your uni, course, why you chose it, what you liked about it, what
else you did at uni, and work exp, your passions outside of work

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in

Digital Marketing. I chose to do Civil Engineering as I have always been good
with number, believing to be a highly analytical person with good problem-
solving skills. However, when a relative of mine opened a business, I offered
myself to be in charge of their Facebook page. That is when I began to
explore my creative side more and decided to pursue a career and a Master’s
Degree in Digital Marketing.

I liked my Degree, the course was well structured and lectures gave me a
good knowledge foundation of the digital marketing world. I liked that most of
my assignments were very practical and equipped me with information that
would be truly useful in my professional career. I worked with social media,
Google Analytics, microsites and many more for my assignment, just to name
a few.

During my time at the Radisson Blu St. Helen’s, I was in charge of… This
experience definitely improved my organizational and communication skills,
as well as exposing me to a fast paced environment that requires good time
managemend and the ability to work under pressure. The hotel industry is
very dynamic, therefore very easy to lose track of your tasks without good
prioritization of your tasks and good organisation.

● Be able to explain your CV, from the degree, positions of responsibility

at uni, to any work, paid or volunteering. You should be able to do this
from the top of your head

● What inspires/ motivates you?

I am motivated by constant challenges and situations that get me out of my

comfort zone. It might sound scary to other people, I could not see myself
working in company where I am not given the chance to strive to be the best
version of myself. I am highly inspired by young entrepreneurs and by people
that worked hard to achieve their goals, even if they might have failed a few
times on the way. Failing is a part of learning, and I understood that

● What are your passions/ hobbies in life?

I am passionate about psychology, understanding people’s behaviours and
why they perform certain actions. I believe this is crucial in marketing, as
understanding your audience is key to delivering high quality targeted
campaigns, that would reach your customers at the right time, with the right
message and through the right channels.

Secondly, one of my biggest passions since I was a child is traveling. I believe

that there is no better way of investing your money than in an experience that
can bring you so much benefits and joy. In my judgement, traveling opens
your mind and makes you experience new situations that would be impossible
to encounter otherwise. In addition to that, one of the most important
benefits, is that traveling makes one realize that the perspective on the world
differs from individual to individual, from country to country, which, as a
result, determines people to become more understanding of one another.

● What are your strengths?

Very fast learner, highly adaptable, very computer literate, good

communicator and problem solver.

● What are your weaknesses?

I am a good communicator. However, I might sometimes be overwhelmed

when I am in the position of delivering a public speech. This is why I chose a
career in marketing as opposed to more sales oriented. Nevertheless, I am
aware that as responsibilities build up, public speaking is key. That is why I
sometimes practise giving speeches in front of the mirror, analysing my body
language and body movements. This has helped me become more confident in
myself and my ability to deliver a high-quality speech.

● How do you like to be managed?

I enjoy getting involved in different and diverse projects, so I like working

with managers that allow their employers to experiment and be as
independent as possible. However, there are times when I might be stuck or
out of ideas, so I appreciate it when a manager is willing to give good support
and guidance when necessary. No one can do anything by themselves, but I
believe that when managers and employers collaborate together and are open
to new ideas, there is a huge potential for learning and growth.

● What has been your biggest challenge?

One of the biggest challenges I faced was when I left home to study my
Master’s Degree in the UK. I have done a lot of traveling in my life, but always
returned home after a period of time. The beginning was hard, I experienced
homesickness and thought about returning home after finishing the master.
However, I started connecting with my peers and joined societies at uni,
which helped me get a sense of belonging and become more adaptable and
flexible. This day, I decided to start my career away from home, in London, as
I realized that the opportunities for growth here are important for me,
therefore, I am now confident in living by myself, away from home.

● How do you manage conflict

● What is your biggest achievement?

My biggest achievement is that since I was in primary school, I always strived

to be the best, top of my class and part of the best classes in my school. I
was always motivated by being one of the best at everything I did. As a result,
I managed to obtain a Distinction in my Master’s degree, while also working a
part time job and getting myself involved in societies at university.
