● How would you grow the airline/ oil and gas industry for Crises Control?
● How would you use linkedin for marketing to generate new leads?
I found that Twitter generates the most likes and shares from all platform.
Moreover, it has the most likes and engagement compared to Facebook
and Linkedin. Being an instant message app, posting regularly and
engaging with relavant content is key for being noticed in such a ‘storm’ of
messages. I would personally make more use of hashtags, more research
of relevant hashtags and incorporate that into the strategy. Can also use
Twitter for conversation
Optimize the Facebook page by adding all the relevant information. For
Facebook, I would incorporate the ‘Download App’ button; keep content
informative and inspirational; Ask questions to engage with the audience;
make use of Facebook Ads to generate brand awareness or page likes or
promote your product. Share articles from relevant sources;
Have you Thought of using Instagram as well? You can use Hubspot’s
Strategy. Post about how your product made a difference to your
customers, how it helped them, reviews, relevant quotes and inspirational
messages from your industry;
Preparation
● Why do you like the industry this company is in? Why would you want to
work in this industry?
● Why do you like the company? (Big, small, start-up, company culture,
the people you would be working for, any awards they have won, an
inspiring founder)
One of the main reasons I would like to work for your company is the fact that
you are a fast growing and inspiring start-up company. Working in a big
company has its benefits, no doubt. However, being involved in a start up
outakes them. First of all, when you are working with a small team, you have
the opportunity to be exposed to more projects from the very start and take
on more responsibilities than in a big company, which in the end makes you
grow faster and gain valuable knowledge in a shorter time. Secondly, when
you work in a start-up, you feel that your efforts are valued and rewarded,
which increases your job satisfaction and desire to learn more and strive to
perform to your full potential.
Moreover, by reviewing the website and a number of customer reviews, I
understood that your work has such a huge impact on businesses, especially
to SME, as you’re offering a reliable, easy to use communication platform,
with a fast implementation process, at a very competitive price.
Continuous learning- from customers reviews, I learnt that they base their
product development on feedback from customers. I believe this is extremely
important, because, in the end, any product should satisfy customers needs.
If a business continuously shapes its development on this feedback, it has
higher changes of succeeding in this competitive industry.
Quality and Simplicity- provides high quality services, a simple to use design
and implementation feature; continuous support to customers;
“The only thing harder than planning for an emergency is explaining why you didn't when
THAT DAY comes"- business mission statement;- shows that they like to thik ahead
● Who are their main customers? Anyone you know, who is impressive/
inspires you?
By reviewing your website, I learnt that your product helps companies from a
variety of sectors, including Air cargo, Transport, healthcare, financial
services, government, schools or property. I was pleased to find out that you
have offered your services to companies like Total, Toyota or Genesis. I find
them all to be strong and reliable brands, with a reputation of delivering high
quality services to their customers. The fact that these companies chose your
product speaks for itself. It makes me understand that your product offering
is top class.
Mostly relevant information and company updates, awards they received etc.
Facebook: 117
Linkedin: 178
Twitter: 1050
● Can you find out who their competition is? How do they compare?
Some competitors I found are: Pager Duty, Freshservice, Engage EHS Sofware
or VictorOps.
Better pricing for SME, offers them opportunity to use the platform even if
their budget is lower than in a big corporation; monthly subscription options
● Is there anything about the interviewer that would make you want to
work at the company?
The job consists of working with all digital tools and channels in order to
generate business growth and increase the visibility of the brand, create new
and innovative ways to engage with the audience and develop the product
offering, as well as evaluating and analysing existing data in order to further
improve the product and customer experience.
1 Working with all digital tools to help build proficiency and maximise
the visibility of the brand and value proposition, to current and
potential customers within target use cases . Could you clarify this?
What channels am I going to be using to maximise the visibility of
the brand? I understand that social media and content marketing are
going to be involved. What about PPC, SEO, for example.
2 Providing high-quality qualification demos of the platform to assist in
winning and retaining customers – Can you please explain further?
3 Diving into usage behaviour with existing client portfolios and
Analysing customer data to improve customer experience- Does this
involve working with Google Analytics?
● What do you not have on the spec, is this something you could google/
buy a book on and learn?
3. Knowing yourself (These are generic Qs you may find in any job interview)
I liked my Degree, the course was well structured and lectures gave me a
good knowledge foundation of the digital marketing world. I liked that most of
my assignments were very practical and equipped me with information that
would be truly useful in my professional career. I worked with social media,
Google Analytics, microsites and many more for my assignment, just to name
a few.
During my time at the Radisson Blu St. Helen’s, I was in charge of… This
experience definitely improved my organizational and communication skills,
as well as exposing me to a fast paced environment that requires good time
managemend and the ability to work under pressure. The hotel industry is
very dynamic, therefore very easy to lose track of your tasks without good
prioritization of your tasks and good organisation.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was when I left home to study my
Master’s Degree in the UK. I have done a lot of traveling in my life, but always
returned home after a period of time. The beginning was hard, I experienced
homesickness and thought about returning home after finishing the master.
However, I started connecting with my peers and joined societies at uni,
which helped me get a sense of belonging and become more adaptable and
flexible. This day, I decided to start my career away from home, in London, as
I realized that the opportunities for growth here are important for me,
therefore, I am now confident in living by myself, away from home.

Questions:
About my role:
How is your company helping organisations during times like Covid -19?
How would you describe your marketing strategy? What do you think
has been the most successful channel so far?
I have read on your website that you won a number of awards, which is
impressive. What other companies were you up against? Which was the
most rewarding?
What is the biggest challenge the company is facing right now?
I have read that you teamed up with Resilience First in order to raise
awareness on the importance of business resilience. Will I be involved
in their creation?
Challenge faced: all the communication is mostly mobile based. In the
event of a crisis, how would you ensure the communication can still be
done, if the participants do not have phone battery?
Are there other industries that you would like to expand your business
to (example: Retail; if the competiton doesn t do it yet, maybe there is
an opportunity to raise awareness for the importance of a incident
management tool in the retail industry)? Or other products you wish to
add to your existing one?
How do you compare do your competitors? What additional features are
you planning to add in the following years?
