 Thesis Statement: Coffee or Tea. These ones are present in almost any house

or building. The smell, the taste and the benefits for the people who drink one

of these ones, placed these delicious drinks in the first places of preference of

every one.

Tea or Coffee?

Sharing time with people just like: Friends, family, co-workers among others, always is

better if besides time, also is shared a drink. It is common to go may be to a bar for drinking beer

or any other type of alcoholic shot. In countries like Spain, Chile or Argentina, one of the most

popular drinks is the wine, even the kids drink this delicious beverage. But in almost every

country around the world, you can find either one of this tow: Coffee or Tea. These ones are

present in almost any house or building. The smell, the taste and the benefits for the people who

drink one of these ones, placed these delicious drinks in the first places of preference of every

one.

One of the most famous characteristics about the coffee, is the delicious smell it has. For

the ones who love to drink it, may be in the morning, right after they awake, the smell represents

a special source of energy and a very good way to start the breakfast, because it stimulates the

brain and also, it improves our cognitive process. There are many different types of coffee, and

also it means that the smell of it has different characteristics. In some cases, the coffee has scents

to fruity, caramel, toasted, fermented and even a little acid. The Arabica and Robusta, are the

most common types of coffee. On The other hand, the Tea has also this very marked

characteristic, and the lovers of this one also enjoy it as much as the coffee ones do. For instance,

the green tea, which is one of the most famous, has a lot of characteristics in its smell, like

alcoholic. The black tea, has a more fermented smell, and the tea made from some tree bark, like

the cinnamon tree, has a fruitier and woody fragrance. The tea is more popular in the afternoons

or after the meals, because some of them help to have a better digestion process.

The taste is another principal characteristic that make the coffee and the tea, tow important drinks

around the world. The coffee, for instance, has a small range of known flavors, even if in the

beginning, the only taste you have is more bitter, because this is the base of the coffee. But it is

not only bitter, also sweet, salty and acid are the four main flavors in the coffee, but, the human

palate also can identify tastes like: Peach, maple syrup and toasted nuts in order to classify them

into some varieties. Also, some coffees have a sweeter favor because the sugar that is added to

the final product. With the tea, the topic about the flavor is wide more open and more variety.

The flavor, obviously, will depend on the plants, fruits, and even the wood (bark) that is the tea

made from. For instance, the Mate, which is the most favorite tea in Argentina and Uruguay, has

a very bitter taste, because the plant, called “Yerba Mate” has a lot of tannins when is dry and

smashed. In Turkey, there is a variant of the black tea, which is very strong in its flavor.

In addition, the coffee and the tea are very popular and consumed around the world not

only because of the smell and the flavor they have, but also for their many benefits that provide

its consumption to every person. Thousands of coffee and tea cups are served every day in order

to help people to: Awake, humor changing, stress relieving, family and friends gathering,

decisions taking, business closing and many many more. These drinks, not only has the power to

feed us, but also to unified millions of people around the world. Other of the goods that the tea

has, for instance, is the medicinal functions that they provide us. For instance, the peppermint tea

is very used for healing stomachaches and others pains. The cinnamon tea is used for millions to

control the high blood pressure, the chamomile tea is well recognized as a powerful antibiotic and

so on. The nature has his benefits, and the humans can take advantage of it by the using of the

teas.

In conclusion, among the thousands of popular drinks around the planet, like beer, alcohol

and others, there are two of them that has a privileged place in the heart of the people. The

delicious and helpful coffee and tea. They have some characteristics, like the smell, flavor and

benefits that are taken in advantage for the humans in order to enjoy time, places, people and

experiences. The smell of the coffee in the morning, for many people, has the power of give them

a new feeling and an amazing energy to start the day. Many students, artist, writers and more, use

a cup a coffee to inspiration for their master pieces. On the other hand, many tea lovers find a lot

of medicinal benefits in teas like: Cinnamon, peppermint, Chamomile and many others, for

healing a lot of pains and health issues. So, if you enjoy one of these two drinks, may be they

have helped you to get where you are now.
