Good evening, Sir.

Today I would like to share my individual reflection about pronouncation

practice. But before that, let me introduce myself first. My name is Suyanti. My student number
is 058. At first, when I entered Pronouncation Class, I really confused. I don't know what is the
pronouncation. I tried to understand, but I'm not really sure for the first time. And also this is
the highest SKS that I take this semester, so I have to stayed almost 3hours a week in a class. I
felt bored during that.

The other things that make me lazy is the Quiz. Every we finished our courses, we have to did
the quiz via online. At first, I did the Quiz, there are any problems here. Sometimes about the
bad connection, error file or audio, trouble in Schoology and etc. That's really make me
disappointed. Because of that, I just get 3/20 in my first quiz. I'm tried not to overthinking after
that, because that just the first, not the end. I still have many quiz to did for get the better score
than that, I thought.

As time goes by, I have learned many courses such as syllables, consonant, word stress,
intonation, emphasize, alphabet vowel and relative vowel sound in the pronouncation class. I
can see the progress when I started to talk some sentences. For example about word stress,
while I said research, I always said it randomly. I didn't know if we put the stress at the first
syllable, it could be a noun. And if we put the stress at the last syllable, it could be a verb. But
after that, I can understand very well. And also about an alphabet and relative vowel sound. If
there are two vowel letters in one syllable word, the first vowel letter is pronounced with
alphabet vowel sound. And the second vowel letter is silent. For example tea, read 'ti', the 'a' is
silent. And the other example die, read 'dai', the 'e' is silent. It is a little bit that I have learned in
class.

And now, I can feel the progress in my pronouncation ability. I have known how to pronounce
sentence correctly, spell word with the right stress, and understand the meaning of same words
with different stress.

Thank you, Sir. I'm sorry if I ever felt bored and tired when you are teaching us. But now, I'm
really thank you of all things that you have tought me for this semester.

I think that's all my individual reflection. Thank you again, Sir.
