To Whom it may Concern,

I have had the pleasure of teaching Abbie Miller in my Fashion Marketing and Advanced
Entrepreneurship classes over the past two years. Abbie demonstrates all of the
qualities that you would seek in a student at your institution. She is intelligent,
responsible, independent, reliable, creative, and kind. She works well in groups, yet is
able to stand on her own. She is a model student and completes all of her assignments
on time, with a great deal of discipline and to the highest standards.
She seeks new opportunities for personal growth and pursues leadership roles in every
organization she belongs to. Last year she competed at the DECA district competition
where she earned a 2nd place medal in food marketing and moved on to compete at
states. She has been awarded for her academic achievements by receiving an invitation
to the National Science Honor Society and the National French Honor Society. She has
also received Honor Roll every year. She is certified by the National Retail Federation in
customer service and sales, and she also holds certifications for financial literacy and
workplace readiness skills. She is respected and well-liked by both her peers and the
faculty at Frank W. Cox High School.
Abbie’s work ethic and leadership can be seen not only in academic achievements but
also in her impressive resume of extracurricular activities and volunteerism. She has
been a member of her class advisory board every year, Key Club, and DECA, an
association of marketing students. She has taken part in all of the school fashion
shows, both with planning and modeling, and she attended a three-day field study trip
with me to New York, where she attended fashion seminars. Over the summer, Abbie
helped plan and carry out activities for our fashion camp for young children. Outside of
school, Abbie works a part-time job in customer service, which displays her ability to
juggle school and other commitments while maintaining a high GPA.
Abbie is an outstanding young woman, both in the classroom and in the real world. I
believe she will be successful in whatever endeavors she seeks. I have no doubt that
she will be a great addition and it is without hesitation that I recommend Abbie.

Sincerely,
Jade Bolling
