To Whom It May Concern,

It is indeed my pleasure to write this letter for Abbie Miller, who has been my VTFT I
and II intern for the past two years in my 3rd grade class at John B. Dey Elementary
School.

Abbie has a very outgoing personality and is a natural with young children. She has a
wonderful combination of a positive attitude and fun-loving personality that children
are drawn to. Her kind, calm, caring nature draw the children to her and allow them to
feel comfortable and confident around her.

Abbie has a wonderful sense of humor and energy that was contagious to the children.
They looked up to her as a role model, and she demonstrated a true growth mindset
perspective in her behavior and in her interactions with each child.

In the classroom, Abbie displayed great effort, enthusiasm and growth in her
interpersonal and organizational skills. She worked well students in small groups as
well as individually. She displayed respectful, and patient listening skills and gave
positive, detailed feedback to the children, which in turn, gave them confidence to
reach higher and try new skills and concepts.

Professionally, Abbie was prompt every day, and trustworthy and reliable in her
interactions. She was courteous, clear and direct in her emails and texts with me. She
treated both adults and children with respect and a cheerful attitude. She was always
willing to do what was asked of her, and diligent and committed to completing her
assignments in a timely manner.

Abbie has a way of engaging others to become involved and interactive in a group
activity, while also knowing when to sit back and let others take the lead. Her active,
upbeat and open nature lends itself to a willingness to grow as a learner, an impressive
strength that will serve her well in college and beyond.

I could not have asked for a more enthusiastic, sweet, reliable intern to be in my class
with my students. I’m proud of the progress and growth Abbie made during her
internships in my third grade classes. She has truly left a lasting, positive impression
on all of my students and myself.

Abbie has my highest recommendation and I wish her well in her future endeavors.
