1. The proposal is intended for the betterment of the community.

2. The residents would be in favour of having a specific place for dumping their garbages.
3. The expenses for this proposal would not be too expensive.
4. The proposal would address the poor waste disposal of the community.
5. The focus of the proposal is on a specific street making it easier to perform or achieve.

WEAKNESS

1. It might require a lot of process in terms of the organization of this proposal.

2. Needs cooperation and discipline of the community.
3. The residents are used with the practice of throwing garbage in front of their residence.
4. The street has a narrow road causing difficulties for the garbage trucks.

OPPORTUNITIES

1. It gives an opportunity to improve the health of the community because it will help lessen the
hazards that may decline the health of the people.
2. A barangay with clean environment will give an opportunity for the barangay to develop faster.
3. It will help improve the discipline of the community.

THREATS

1. There will be a lot of people who will get sick because of the delay of the collection of garbage
specially that the garbage doesn’t have one specific location.
2. The garbage might be left scattered around on the street.

SOLUTION

As a student, we will make a formal proposal to the barangay officials that contains possible
solutions to the said problem such as providing signage stating that the garbage should be disposed in
the designated area and also put some placards saying that “Bawal magtapon dito”. The group also
wants to suggest to the authorities to conduct orientation to the citizen for them to be aware of the said
proposal. Lastly, the group also want to suggest, if possible, an MRF place where they can collect
recyclable materials.
