Q.2.A: Underline the citation in paragraph:

Postpartum depression refers to a non-

psychotic depressive episode that begins in or

extends into the postpartum period (Cox et al.,

1993; O’Hara, 1994; Watson et aL, 1984). In past

research, these depressions have been defined in a

variety of ways (O’Hara & Zekoski, 1988). More

recent and rigorous studies have defined postpartum

depression based on standardized diagnostic criteria

for depression (Cooper & Murray, 1995; Cox et al.,

1993; O’Hara et at. 1990; Troutman &

Cutrona,1990). Requirements for a diagnosis of

postpartum depression usually include that a woman

be experiencing dysphoric mood along with several

other symptoms such as sleep, appetite, or

psychomotor disturbance, fatigue, excessive guilt,

and suicidal thoughts (APA, 1994; Spitzer et

aL,1978). Typically, there will be a requirement that

the symptoms be present for a minimum amount of

time (at the very least, one week) and result in some

impairment in the woman’s functioning (Cooper &

Murray, 1995; O’Hara et aL, 1990).

A.2. B: Reference of the paragraph:
