SLO #1--Rhetorical Awareness (written for the right audience and purpose):

1-Below Basic           2-Developing           3-Proficient             4-Advanced

SLO #2--Ethical Research (correct citations; diverse, authoritative sources):

1-Below Basic           2-Developing           3-Proficient             4-Advanced

SLO #3--Persuasion (claims supported with appropriate evidence):

1-Below Basic           2-Developing           3-Proficient             4-Advanced

SLO #4--Organization (conventional definition organization is present):

1-Below Basic           2-Developing           3-Proficient             4-Advanced

SLO #5--Language and Design (middle-level language and user-friendly, logical design):

1-Below Basic           2-Developing           3-Proficient             4-Advanced

( I would score #4 & 5 between 2 and 3)

Part 2:  Successes and Challenges

Two Successes:

1. I really enjoy the inclusion of current research regarding the topic. It adds a lot of flavor to the
text!

2. The separation of biological and homogenous catalyst specifications really helps add more
context and insight into the definition.
Two Challenges:

1. I would try to break up the 1st paragraph into sub-topics. It's a little difficult to digest in the
format it's in. Adding pictures may also help the reader visualize the topic.

2. I would add additional info/definitions about "activation energy" and possibly the different
kinds of metals commonly used as catalysts.

Side notes: Would prefer the use of "distinguishing" instead of "distinguished" in paragraph 1.
Maybe additional illustrations/graphics?
