Performance Appraisal
Conclusion
Through this assignment, I got to know about how we need to maintain a
minimum of inventory. Also, as the supply chain includes manufacturers and
then distributors and the wholesalers, so my order would take time to process
and it's not necessary that I will get the whole of order at once. So predicting the
situation I need to maintain my inventory. The different levels or groups in
supply chain are important and interconnected. Each group has control over
only a part of the supply chain, but each group can influence the entire chain by
ordering too much or too little. Further, each group is influenced by decisions
that others are making. There lies much importance of information sharing,
supply chain management and collaboration throughout a supply chain process.
Due to lack of information, suppliers, manufacturers, sales people and
customers often have an incomplete understanding of what the real demand of
an order is. Further, we can also see the coloumn of cost which helps us keep
the accumulated cost as low as possible in the end.
