CHAPTER 2

 Research Design - This section presents ,discusses and justifies the method
(quanti/quali/mixed) and the design (correlation/pheno) of the study with authors.

 Research Participants - This section presents and describes the

characteristics/attributes of participants (inclusion and exclusion criteria that
qualifies or disqualifies a probable participant of the study )as well as the sampling
used. Justify the appropriateness of your respondents and sampling method. (with
authors)

 Data Source - This section presents and describes in detail the tools that you will use
in gathering data (IDI and FGD). Explain succinctly with authors the definitions and
appropriateness of the sources of data.

 Data Collection - This section lays down how you will go about gathering the data you
need. This is a step-by-step procedure of your plan that you intend to follow so you
could obtain data. (with authors)

 Data Analysis - This section presents and discusses in detail the process of analyzing
your data. (with authors)

 Trustworthiness of the Study - This section presents and discusses the qualities of the
research project which qualifies it as trustworthy. Make sure to include how you will
ensure that these characteristics will be observed in your study. Follow Lincoln and
Guba's (1985) criteria: Credibility, Confirmability, Transferability, Dependability. (with
authors)

 Role of the Researcher - This section presents and discusses the tasks/roles that the
researcher will take in the conduct of the study to ensure the validity of the study. This
informs the audience how well the researcher knows his/her study. (with authors)

 Ethical considerations - This sections presents and discusses in specific details what
ethical principles your study will observe and how you will follow/observe them in your
study. Please follow the ethical principles from the Belmont Report. (with authors)
