ABSTRACT

In a modern civilization, things that are thought to be impossible in the past are

now existing and widely implemented in different sectors. Newly invented technologies

are yield more often compared to previous years leading to a prominent increase on

the availability of technologies which are made to simplify our daily activities. But the

more the inventions the more the old technologies are needed.

One of this is the “Small Steam Generator”, which aims to provide a laboratory

equipment for the university. Steam generator is known as a converter of water to

steam in a nuclear power plant which produce electricity. The system is composed of

steam valve, safety relief valve, feed water pump, pressure gauge, chimney, firebox

and LPG as a source of fuel, together with the ignition of long lighter. When the source

is releasing fire then the water will boil and the output will be the steam. In general, the

output which is the steam can be use for industrial process like nuclear power plant

that provides electricity and can be use as a source of some AC technologies. This

system designed is can be use as laboratory equipment in a university.
