For the time being, I am interested in the blended teaching/learning which I find a

suitable matter to investigate and well use to develop the EFL learner ability to get

as much information as possible , to acquire English as a foreign language

successfully and to effectively master the four skills of this language . Personally, i

believe that the most effective method to achieve those purposes is to put the

learner in the language cultural atmosphere i.e. the learners should be exposed to

the language through its social context.

Blended teaching is one of the methods that attend to have the language's direct

contact with its learners as a main principle. this method is a mixture of a tradition

class added to a virtual class which means that the teacher is going to present his

lesson or lecture at the classroom (traditional classroom), when the students finish

their classes at school they can use a social media device or a platform that presents

a virtual classroom where the teacher can chat with his learners, explain more

details while the learners will be able to ask more questions and to give their

opinions about different matters.

Blended teaching is considered as a successful method to help the learners having

an effective learning and achieve the acquisition of a certain language because it

adds novelty and increases motivation and engagement of students.

The acquisition process is an unconsciously process; we use this process to achieve

the second language learning successfully.

Previously, we used to follow structural aims trough presenting a rule, practice it

then test it and neglecting the communicative purposes. Lately, we are giving more

importance to communicative approach because we realized that the more listening,

input and reading opportunities the more the learners produce language and use

complex output.

The need of building a lesson on communicative purposes and not only

grammatical ones became a necessity in order to have better results.

Successful reading and listening allow the person to respond appropriately using

writing and speaking, therefore the four skills: reading, listening, writing and

speaking can't be isolated. Communication must have an important role through

using those understandings in order to teach the second language. Hence, we have

to give ample opportunities to the learners to practice the four skills in our journey

to find and create new pedagogical ideas.
