Respected Sir,
I am writing to apply for summer research internship under your valuable and
esteemed guidance in Texas A&M University for the upcoming summer.
I am a pre-final year undergraduate student majoring in Petroleum Engineering at Indian
Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), Visakhapatnam, India. I am glad to be a part of an
institution which holds Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Texas A&M University.
Sir, I am writing to share my interest on your research on unconventional hydrocarbon
specially rate-time-pressure analysis for unconventional reservoir systems. It would be my
honour to commit myself to work in your lab for 2 months during upcoming summer and
learn under your guidance so as to support my passion for research.
The funding for the research internship will finance through the MoU between IIPE and
TAMU. I herewith enclose my resume, statement of purpose along with the transcript for
your reference.
