TENSES

PENJELASAN ( INTRODUCE)

KEGUNAAN tenses adalah untuk memberikan PENJELASAN terhadap KAPAN suatu peristiwa
terjadi..

TENSES dibagi menjadi 4 macam berdasarkan bentuk WAKTUnya, yaitu

 PRESENT tense  peristiwa yang masih atau sedang BERLANGSUNG

 PAST tense  peristiwa yang SUDAH terjadi akan berakhir pada waktu tertentu
 FUTURE tenses  kegiatan yang akan terjadi pada masa yang AKAN datang
 PAST FUTURE tense  perbuatan yang AKAN dilakukan saat waktu yang lampau (yang
lalu)

Selanjutnya.. macam-macam TENSES ini terbagi lagi mejadi

 Simple
 continuous (selalu menggunakan Verb1 + ing)
 perfect (pada umumnya, menggunakan (has/have atau had) + verb 3)
 perfect continuous (biasanya menggunakan TOBE (has/have/had) + Been yang
kemudian diikuti Verb1 + (Ing))
 TENSES

A. PRESENT TENSE
 SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Rumus : S + Verb 1 + (s /es) + O Cont: she waits her boyfriend in halte everyday.
They are student.

 PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

Rumus : S + To Be ( is, am, are) + verb1 ( +ing) Cont: they are eating rice.
I am burning a house of ant.

 PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

Rumus : S + Have / has + Verb3 Cont: we have been there since morning.
She has visited surabaya twice.

 PRENSENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS

Rumus : S + have/has + been + Verb1 (+ ing)
Cont: we have been sitting for an hour but she not turned up.

B. PAST TENSE
 SIMPLE PAST TENSE
Rumus : S + Verb2 + O Cont: The train was ten minutes late.
Atau S + Tobe (Was/were) + O they don’t go to school yesterday.

 PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE

Rumus : S + Was/were + Verb1 + ing Cont:They were watching TV when I gone.
Lia was testing dancing when I called her.

 PAST PERFECT TENSE

Rumus: S + Had + Verb3 Cont:I had been at home when you went to library
He had not gone when I slept last night.

 PAST PERFECT CONTINOUS TENSE

Rumus: S + Had +been + verb1 + ing
Cont: she had been crying, when we followed dancing.
C. FUTURE TENSE
 SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
Rumus: S + shall/will + verb1 Cont: we shall go to market tomorrow.
Budi will be there next mont.

 FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Rumus: S + shall/will + be+ Verb1+ ing cont: I shall be waitting if you come to
night.
You will be coming from bandung to night.

 FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

Rumus: S+ shall/will + have + verb3 Cont: Reny will have been at home.
They will have brought a books.

 FUTURE PERFECT CONTINOUS TENSE

Rumus : S + shall/will + have+been + Verb1 + ing
Cont: he will have been working here for two years by the end of the year.

D. PAST FUTURE TENSE

 PAST FUTURE TENSE
Rumus: S + should/would + Verb1 Cont: He would steal our book the weak before.
I should bid him a pen the day before.

 PAST FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Rumus: S + should/would +be + verb1+ing cont: she would be taking my dictionery.

 PAST FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

Rumus: S+ should/would + have + verb3
Cont: he would have been success if he had learned hard.

 PAST FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE

Rumus: S + should/would + have been + verb1+ing
Contoh: they should not have been working here for two years by the end of this years.
