Phase 1. Problematic Area of Research in Universities and their Digitization: In
s of this first phase, the object of this research will be delimited and the research
the questions will be defined specifically. We will start with a section on digital
metho technologies where we will analyze the technological trends that are driving the
dolog phenomenon that we want to study.
y 2. Theoretical Foundation: We will focus on describing the theoretical
framework of reference that contains the phenomenon investigated, we will see
the analysis of the digital transformation of higher education institutions that
focuses on three major fields of study that are the interaction between
technology and education and information systems of organizations.
3. Theoretical Model for the Analysis of the Digital Transformation of
Universities: To systematically study the characteristics of digital
transformation, we propose a theoretical model that classifies the implications of
the transformation process into seven levels: the university city, the
infrastructure of information and communication technologies (ICT), the
administration of university, university teaching, results research, university
marketing action and institutional communication.
4. Research Methodology: It is defined as empirical research investigating a
contemporary phenomenon within its context in real life, especially useful when
the differences between phenomena and context are not clearly evident.
5. Analysis and Results Process: Here an analysis is made of the areas of the
university where it is more urgent to make the digital changes so that it is up to
the level of education, then the results of these changes are reviewed and it is
reviewed where it can be improved much more.
