Good evening. I enjoy both teaching video and your presentation videos. I can see Ms. Lulu point about
weakness of the teaching practice that it's teacher-centered--and I'm surprised.

So I can see that the teacher and students have the book (the printed version). And in the video, the
teacher use the application too from Oxford. My question is: Is it effective to use two media which share
the same function like the e-book and printed version of similar book (in this case)? I would like to hear
your opinion about this, because I think it's not that necessary to display the e-book version of the book
used. (In this case, I'm excluding the use of dictionary). Thank you.

Thank you very much Miss Diana

Oke, that's good question. However, technology be able to support our learning in the classroom. So it's
necessary for teacher to display the book even though the students already have the printed one, here
teachers wants the students more focus on the material discussed, as we know as students in the level
of young learners sometimes they are easy to be distrubted by picture provided in the text book. Hence,
using this media in this video give the students correct pronunciation based on native speaker. Thank
you😊

Hai presenters, it was an excellent presentation, very informative 👍🏼

However, I don`t find the explanation of comparison curriculum between India & Indonesia,

Could u clarify briefly ?

Thank you.

Thank you Ms. Nur☺️

I will try to answer your question.

Actually the Indian and the Indonesian education are almost the same. But based on the data from
countryeconomy.com, education in Indonesia is better than India.

The first point that distinguished them is the compulsory education. In India, the compulsory education
is start from 6-14 years old. While in Indonesia, the compulsory education is 9 years.

The next point is the language instruction used. In India, they use English as the language instruction on
their printed media. While in Indonesia, as English is EFL, so we use Bahasa Indonesia.

Those are the specific difference of Indian and Indonesian education. Thank you.

Good evening miss wening n miss lulu..

Good job 👍🏻

Well, when I am watchinhlg the video, it is very short and simple. The teacher only gives explanation in
short time. Suddenly, there are some question about degree of comparison. My question : is it the
second meeting? Or did the teacher explain the material before?

Thank you.

Thank you Miss libdah..

In my opinion, this is the second meeting, because the teacher didn't explain the material in detail
about the comparison. The focus study of this meeting is Robinson. She only try to recall the students
knowledge in the previous meeting. In the Robinson's text there is an adverb, so she try to correlate the
adverb found in the text with the comparison. Because students directly answer the question smoothly
it means they already understand the comparison . Thank you😊

Ooh I see Miss Lulu.

So, what is the main material here? Is it narrative material?
And my last question, how long actually does the learning process hold in india? I
mean in one practice.
Because the text is about Robinson's story so this is narrative text. The teaching
process will be conducted in 40 minutes. Thank you😊

Good afternoon Ms. Wening and Ms. Lulu. It was an excellent presentation, very clear and informative. I
enjoyed it.
Based on your explanation, the video was the example of teaching English as Second language.

Would you please give me some kind of highlights, based on the video, that indicate it was English for
second language?

Therefore, based on these highlights we can make clear distinction between ESL and EFL.

Thank you very much Mr Rahman

Esl is applied in the country that consider English as second language such as India, Malaysia etc..

For other characteristics we may also see from the students performance in class. The esl students tend
to speak more fluently because they are accustom to use English in their daily life.

In esl class English is used in every lesson not only English lesson, the efl students mostly used English
only in English lesson. Thank you😊

Good afternoon presenters, after watching the video I feel like the class lesson was
well made and practice for the sake to promote the teaching media, i think this is
not a real time teaching that happen in everyday class. However, I appreciate your
effort for making this presentation, I think I will suggest that if this is in fact a real
class I believe instead of just using the projector as the tool the teacher should
bring the students ti the lab; computers are available and the students can explore
the material with the teacher as guide. In addition, doing exercises will much more
monitored and efficient since the teacher can see all of the students screen on her
computer. What do you think do you agree or do you have any idea related to this?
Thanks

Well, thank you very much for the nice suggestion miss Putu☺️

Yeah, actually the teaching practice is for the promotion I think. It is designed by Oxford University
Press. In reality, miss Lulu and me have tried to find the appropriate one. As our turn is about ESL for
Junior High School, we tried to find the video from Malaysia, Israel, Brunei, etc which are the ESL
country. But it is very hard to find. So we got that video.

I am so sorry, maybe the video is not complete enough.

You are correct, using language laboratory is better.

Then, I hope that we can get the lessons from the video to improve our teaching. Thank you

Hello presenters, I just wanna know based on your point of view how to make students involved during
the teaching learning process like in the video? because sometimes in the real class there will be some
students who can't focus or follow teachers' intruction.
Thank you

Hi miss Wening and miss Lulu, I'm in favor of your presentation, it's understandable 👍,

Here, I just wanna give opinion related with miss hani's question, in my point of view because teacher
employs oral and situational method which belongs to teacher learning centered, so students had
limited opportunity to explore their skills, to overcome this problem. Teacher may elaborate that
method by using some interesting media which most familiar with students to enhance their antusiastic
during learning process and also to avoid students' boredom

Good afternoon mba Wening and mba Lulu. It was a good presentation

And I want to ask about the school. On your video, The Heritage School is the internasional school which
use national and internasional. Does national-schools in India also use an internasional curriculum?
Thankyou

Afternoon, Miss Pipi☺️

Thank you for the question.

Okay, as I got source from the website, the national school in India use the national curriculum as the
priority.

The international curriculum used by the higher level of education in India (re: secondary), since they are
prepared to compete with the global citizens. Thank you

Good Afternoon, presenters

You have done such a great presentation.

Talking about teaching media, Would you please give us examples of using another teaching media for
teaching the material ?

Thank you

Thank you Mr Inu..

The other teaching media that can be used in this meeting is the video that tell about Robinson's story.
It will be more interesting for the students especially for the one who have Audio visual intelligence. The
teacher also can suggest the students to bring the printed dictionary, because this teaching learning
process emphasize the pronunciation. So it is very important for the students to be familiar with
phonetic symbol. Thank you😊

Good afternoon Mbak lulu and Mbak Wening.

You did a good job for this presentation.

One of the English teacher’s challenges in conducting the Classroom Learning process is student
competence heterogeneity. So, a differentiation is necessary in a classroom learning situation.
Considering the above issue, I want to really know about how to cater high achieving students and low
achieving students, thus a teacher can achieve the classroom target and lesson objectives without
discriminating student personal as well as students’ self-esteem.

Thank you

Good afternoon Mr. Rahmad. Thank you for the good question

As a teacher, my own way not to discriminate students individually here can be shown by giving
students opportunity to the whole class. We may ask them to answer one by one based on the seat or
maybe based on the attendance list. When we find students get difficulties, we can stimulate them by
giving some clues.

It is for oral questions.

But for the written test, we can help them by giving easier questions. Make sure that they can answer it
before go on the next material.

Maybe the others, will add my answer?

Thank you for the answer..

And how to cater low achieving students n high achieving students.

We know, every lesson have objectives..

Can we set different objectives for a class?

We can't set a different objective in one class mr, when the low acheaving students couldn't achieve the
objective, we may give the additional time for the students after class, or in explaining the material we
need to give slow and understand able explanation to our students, after the explanation was done, we
can check their understanding by giving some questions related to our material, thank you😊

Hai presenters, Good afternoon mbak lulu & mbak wening, it was an excellent
presentation..
according to current events at school, there are several classes where students
sometimes do not focus or pay too much attention to what has been instructed by
the teacher ... how can that child be involved in the learning process as in your
video ...
Thank you 🙏🏻☺

Thank you very much for the question Mr vio, for this stage your question in line with miss hany

So to make students focus in teaching learning process this is a challenge for teacher, the teacher should
give the students something that stimulate students' interest.e.g when we teach elementary students
we may give the intrustion using a media, or we try to give challenge toward students by giving a puzzle
and so on, on the other hand when teaching in the middle school we may give another challenge like
why questions game to increase students' critical thinking, and another games or another challenge
based on their level thank you

Good Afternoon, presenters

You have done such a great presentation.

After I finished watching the Video on you tube, I conclude that is very simple to do for English teacher
using Oxford media. And my question is, Can this method use in indonesian school to practise because
many school in Indonesia haven't complete media or tools to practise like that?

Thank you🙏🏻🙂

Thank you Mr. Aji for the great question,

Well, it depends on the education level, the school facilities, and the teacher itself.
Every media used will be effective if the teacher, student, and the facilities are used
well.
Actually the media is excellent I think. It is very helpful.
We don't have a complete tool doesn't mean we cant as good as them. We should
use our simple media properly. Thank you
