CHANGING A WASHER.

Options to use the material: Cards to match instructions and pictures.


Order instructions according to pictures etc.
Turn to passive

Pre-teach some vocabulary (sink/ drain/ handle/ tap- faucet /rubber washer etc. )

Grab the tools you need: screwdrivers- a spanner- an old towel- steel wool
Turn off the water supplies and drain the lines.
Plug the drain or put an old towel in the sink to prevent losing pieces in the drain.
Remove the cover of the handle and locate the screw. Put this and all the other parts in the sink.
Take off the screw and the handle.
Remove the valve by means of a spanner.
Remove the nut and rubber washer form the valve.
Take off the old rubber washer by means of a plier.
Put on a new washer using your fingers.
Reinstall the valve and tighten it with a spanner. Put back the handle and cover.
Turn on the water supply and test for leaks.
