Philippines's constitution of 1987

Preamble

- we, the sovereign filipino people, imploring the aid of almighty God, in order to build a
just and humane society and establish a government that shall embody our ideals and aspiration,
promote the common good, conserve and develop our pratrimony, and secure to ourselves our
posterity the blessings of independence and democracy under the rules of law and a regime of
truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace, do ordain and promulgate this constitution.

2. What is the difference between Federalism and Unitary Government?

Put simply, the difference between a unitary and a federal government is that a unitary
government puts its power in one central government while in a federal system the government
power is divided into federal and local governing bodies that connect to the national g0vernment.
