Examples:

 Before going to the first slide I will ask if someone can tell me what a product is.
o A product is essentially what you get when you multiply two things (factors) together.

 “First off, does anyone remember what a ray is?”

o A ray is a part of a line that has only one endpoint and extends forever in the opposite
direction

 Next, I will begin the lesson by saying that “an exponential equation is an equation
containing a variable in the exponent.”
o I’ll ask the students to give me a few examples of an exponential equation and write
those examples on the board.
