My Class Data Analysis

 How well is the class doing as a whole group?

As a whole group my class performed 3% below average with a ranking total of 67%.
I feel with strong review of the material the class will be able to gain a higher overall
class average on future test.

 Which individuals are doing well and in what topics?

The students who are doing well with the material learned are Juan, Cody, and Hugh.
Juan’s overall average was 100% on the math test, addition and subtraction are his
strongest topics both scored 100%. Juan scored 83% on division which is also a great
percentage.
Cody’s overall average was 93% on the math test, his strongest topics were subtraction
and addition. He scored 100% on subtraction and 83% on division, with addition not
trailing to far behind at 80%.
Hugh’s overall average was 80% on the math test, addition and subtraction were his
strongest topics. He scored 100% on addition and 80% on subtraction, Huge would
benefit from reviewing division. This will help him strengthen his skills in this topic
which could potentially put him in the “A” range in the future.

 Who may need extra support and on what topics?

As I reviewed the class data, I saw a strong need for extra support with the failing test
scores of Luke, Nathan, and Sarah.
Luke had an overall average of 40% on the math test.
Nathan had an overall average of 47% on the math test.
Sarah had an overall average of 53% on the math test.
All three students can benefit from extra review homework as well as small group
extended instructional time at the kidney table with me.

Conclusion: I learned so much about my students while I looked over the data, I noticed
there are a smaller amount of students who are mastering the material. This means as the
teacher I need to step up my instructional connection, especially during summative
assessments. With hard word I know I can guide my students to perform as a class above
average on these topics.
