5th Grade
● Guided a small group through a bubble-ology lesson over the course of two weeks. We covered;
surface tension, measuring circumference, diameter, scientific procedure, using a ruler, science
equipment, mean, median, and mode.
● Guided a small group through a ZebraFish lesson over a few days. The students and I followed
the cycle from zygote to pigment cell. We discussed vocabulary terms and the life cycle.
● Administered Greek and Latin root word quiz
● Instructed a CIA lesson
● Listened to students during independent reading and gave advice to improve his/her skills
4th Grade
● With a small group of fourth graders who read at a fifth grade level, we discussed character traits,
setting, vocabulary, and reading strategies during guided reading. Over the week, the small group
read the book ​Holes​ by Louis Sachar.
3rd Grade
● Taught multiplication skills by using fun activities to engage small groups in math
2nd Grade
● Over a few months, I worked with one student on independent reading. I observed the student’s
behavior during independent reading then I administered a running record. From the results I
analyzed and created ways for the student to improve his independent reading skills.

● Worked with three students who were below grade level in Guided Reading
● Created fun and engaging activities to improve students’ skills in reading
● Taught a math lesson on number line counting and skip counting
● Leveled students in reading
● Multiple read-alouds on social-emotional, holiday, and behavior books

posted in the hallway.
