Directions: Search an image of your own choice from the internet and paste it in you work sheet and
answer the questions given below:

a- Looking at the image given below ( by Jessica Colaluca)

As color tiles below the image indicates how many colors are being used in this image. Similarly,
for your image create a tile set indicating the number of colors used in your image. For this you
should insert your image in PowerPoint slide and then insert as many tiles below your image
using Insert > Shapes > Select Square > Draw under your image.

In order to extract the color from your image, Select the square you want to fill with extracted
color, from the Shape Format menu > select Shape Fill drop down > select Eyedropper tool>
point from where in the image you want to extract color and click. Repeat this for as many
squares you want to fill. Once finished, save this slide as PNG image and import into your word
file.
b- Give names of your choice to your extracted colors
c- What kind of colors are used in your image i.e. warm, cool etc.
d- What kind of color scheme is used, i.e. Analogous, complementary etc.
e- What is the general overall feeling is being invoked in viewer by this image (from colors point of
view)?
f- If you would like to change the colors of this image, which colors you will change and why?
g- In order to enhance the colors of this image for the viewer, what color temperature of light you
would suggest to use to see this image
h- Chose any of your extracted colors and create a simultaneous contrast with this color, (as
different images were shown during lectures) what two back ground colors you use for creating
this effect and why.
