Description of artifact/assignment: ​My artifact is the term paper that was about the Los Angeles
Riots of 1992.
Why did you choose this as one of your artifacts/assignments?
I chose this artifact because I worked so hard for and I made sure that every time we were talking
about the topic that I was doing my Term paper on I was engaged. It also meant a lot to me that
my hard work paid off.

What academic skills did you use that are specific to this artifact/assignment?
An academic skill that I used in my assignment was engaging in class and in my own reading
and researching. As well as I also used self-management because I need to make sure I was
sleeping and eating well so I could think clearly.

What general academic skills did you use (skills that would be used in any academic class)?
A general academic skill that I used was note-taking because it was ideal that I took good notes.

Did you see growth in your targeted soft skills through the course of working on this
Artifact/Assignment? Explain.
Yes, I did see growth through the course of working on this Artifact because I was engaged in
through the whole assignment.
