1. Make a list of five substances that are usually abused.

2. State some general reasons people abuse substances. For example; For medical reason; to avoid
reality etc.
3. Choose a substance and tell some possible effects on the body of the abuser and how this
abuser could impact the family.

PRESENT the following information using a video you have created or voice note.
N.B.—The video presentation will be of a higher value than the voice note. THREE minutes for
presentation.

4. Outline the ways in which:

(a) one can escape the effects of the abuse of the substance you have chosen.

(b) The family can be of help to the substance abuser.
