Basic Service Purchase Order Process - DIEN Material

Overview

Different from using service management, with this scenario it is possible to use a tax code at item level of PO. The customization done in Service management
will not impact anything here. Basically the scenario is the same, purchase of a service, but using a material type = DIEN. The basic flow, despite is a service
purchase process is very similar to the regular material purchase and it´s usually used for simple services, which did not require too much control by the company.

Service Purchase Order Process - Dien Material

Process flow
1 - ME21N - Making Purchase Order.
At the first look, it seems a regular material purchase order, however the Material type is DIEN (Service) and the "Item Category" is not "D". Attention on the flag
"GR-Bsd IV" flagged. This is very important. This flag should be set for all Brazilian scenarios (Except for Future Delivery) and for Service DIEN scenario should
not be different.

In the calculation procedure view, we can see the ISS calculated correctly.
2 - MIGO - Creating the "Goods receipt" for the service material
The next step is making the goods receipt of the Service material.

3 - MIRO - Invoice Verification

Finally, to close the process, you can perform the invoice verification, as is:
And the nota fiscal, figuring the ISS tax condition correctly.

Customization / Tips

1 - Select DIEN Material when creating the Service Material

When creating the Material in MM01 transaction, select DIEN Material type for this process.
2 - Tax code Customization
On this example, I used tax code G7, configured like that on j1btax transaction:
