BNM Special Relief

Facility Guideline
Overview
BNM has on 28 February 2020 announced the allocation of a RM4.5 billion Special Relief Facility (SRF) to alleviate the
financial burden and assist in the resumption of business operations of the SMEs affected by the recent 2019-nCoV
(COVID-19) outbreak, effective from 6th March 2020 to 31st December 2020.

Financing Purpose Working Capital
Financing Quantum RM100,000 up to RM1,000,000
Collateral Not Required
Tenure Up to 5.5 years (including 6 months moratorium on both principal and interest/profit payment)
Effective Rate 3.5% p.a inclusive of guarantee fee
Total available fund RM4.5 billion from 6th March until 31st December 2020 upon exhaustion of allocation,
whichever is earlier.
Eligibility • The registered company is SME under Bank Negara Malaysia classification or issued by SME
• Corporation Malaysia
• Has been in business for past two (2) years
• Recorded profit in latest financial year
• Company net worth is positive
• To provide evidence company is adversely effected by COVID-19 as per assessment by BNM

Required Documents 1. Statutory documents of the company e.g. M&A, Form 24,44,49

2. Latest 2 years audited account

3. Latest management account (if any)

4. Latest 6 months bank statement

5. Company profile (if any)

6. The contract awarded + list /evidence of previous contracts (if any)

7. Photocopy of directors Identity Card

8. Consent form to check on the credit record of applicant
