Article 15. Laws relating to family rights and duties, or to the status, Art. 80. In the absence of a contrary stipulation in a marriage settlement, the

the time it came to his knowledge. The contract, in such a case, is presumed
to have been entered into in the place where the offer was made. (1262a)

Article 1753. The law of the country to which the goods are to be transported
shall govern the liability of the common carrier for their loss, destruction or
deterioration.
