*Math –We will wrap up our last couple of Freckle
assignments. One will be on Geometry and one on Numbers and
Base 10 (this will cover multiplication, division, addition,
subtraction, rounding, place value. We will end the week with
our End of 4th Grade Cumulative Test. This will cover all our 4th
grade standards.
* Reading – Students will complete their final ReadWorks
Passage on Tuesday. Make sure you are taking your time. We
will finish our read aloud, A Long Walk to Water on Monday.
There will be videos posted for students to watch if they would
like that go with the book. The test will be on Wednesday.
Students may use their notes on the test.
* Writing/ELA – Students will be working on an End of the
Year Memory Book (PowerPoint) this week.
* Science– We will finish our unit on Water and Weather.
Our focus this week will be on weather and climate. We will
have a quiz on Thursday.
WOW! Thank you guys so much for all of the sweet
things you have done for me this week for Teacher
Appreciation Week. I cannot tell you enough how
much each and everyone of you means to me! I
could not have done any of this without the support of
you and your children. They have done more than
amazing during this time! I am so thankful for each of
them and miss them dearly. I cannot wait to get to
see each of them next year!
Thank you for EVERYTHING!
This next week is the last week of “real work”. The last 3
days will be fun activities.
Also, please just email me or let me know if your child is
having an off day. Trust me I GET IT! We have had plenty of
those days at my house!
Zoom sessions will be on Monday, Wednesday from 10-
10:30 Link is posted on Edmodo. We will not have one
on Friday due to picking up supplies.
I will be available through email, Class Dojo, or
Edmodo to answer questions.
You can check the STEM, PE, Art, and Music blog for
some great activities they have (maybe on the day we
would have that special).
Target students make sure you are checking your
Target teacher’s blog.
If your child is on Symphony Math- they should also be
getting on that regularly.
You may also do the FlipGrid Challenge each day or
any of the extra sites in Clever.
• Spirit Days for next week:
• Monday – Hawaiian Day – dress in your
Hawaiian gear.
• Tuesday – DIY Day – dress in something
you made or decorated yourself.
• Wednesday – Holiday Day – dress for your
favorite holiday
• Thursday – Scientist Day – dress like a
Scientist
• Friday – Twin Day - dress like someone in
our class or even your family.
