WEEKLY CHANNEL STOCKS

As is normal at this time of year, trading volumes can be a little soft, and as a result price movements can be a little eratic.
Keeping this in mind, we have picked a handful of channel (channeling) stocks which we envisage performing well (long or
short) as we go into 2011.

A. O. Smith Corporation (Public, NYSE:AOS)


Smith A O Corporation is a manufacturer of water heating equipment and electric motors, serving a diverse mix of residential,
commercial and industrial end markets in the United States. The Company operates in two segments: Water Products and
Electrical Products. The Water Products business manufactures and markets a line of residential gas and electric water heaters,
standard and specialty commercial water heating equipment, high-efficiency copper-tube boilers, water treatment products and
water systems tanks. The Electrical Products business manufactures and markets a line of hermetic motors, fractional
horsepower alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) motors. On April 22, 2009, A. O. Smith Corporation closed on a
merger transaction with Smith Investment Company (SICO). As of December 31, 2009, the Company had net sales of
approximately $2.0 billion, with 69% attributable to its Water Products business and 31% attributable to its Electrical Products
business.

Accuray Incorporated (Public, NASDAQ:ARAY)


Accuray Incorporated has developed a robotic radiosurgery system, CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System, designed to treat
solid tumors anywhere in the body as an alternative to traditional surgery. Its CyberKnife system represents the radiosurgery
systems, combining continuous image-guidance technology with a compact linear accelerator (linac). Its image-guidance
technology enables the system to acquire images to track a tumor's location and transmit any position corrections to the robotic
arm prior to delivery of each dose of radiation. Its linac is a compact radiation treatment device that uses microwaves to
accelerate electrons to create high-energy, X-ray beams to destroy the tumor. The CyberKnife system autonomously tracks,
detects and corrects for tumor and patient movement in real-time during the procedure, enabling delivery of precise, high-dose
radiation with sub-millimeter accuracy. The CyberKnife procedure requires no anesthesia.

Changyou.com Limited(ADR) (Public, NASDAQ:CYOU)
Changyou.com Limited (Changyou) is an online game developer and operator in the People’s Republic of China. The Company
is engaged in the development, operation and licensing of its massively multi-player online role playing games (MMORPGs),
which are interactive online games that may be played simultaneously by a number of game players. As of December 31, 2009,
the Company operated three MMORPGs, which were Tian Long Ba Bu (TLBB), which it developed in-house; Blade Online (BO),
which it licensed from third parties, and Blade Hero 2 (BH2), the sequel to BO. The Company has five MMORPGs in the
pipeline, with different graphic styles, themes and features to appeal to different segments of the online game player community.
Games in its pipeline include the Duke of Mount Deer (DMD), Zhong Hua Ying Xiong (ZHYX), Da Hua Shui Hu (DHSH),
Immortal Faith (IF) and the Legend of Ancient World (LAW). The Company’s ultimate parent company is Sohu.com Inc.

Gildan Activewear Inc. (USA) (Public, NYSE:GIL)
The Company is a marketer and vertically-integrated global manufacturer of basic, non-fashion apparel products for
customers. It sells active wear products to screen print markets in North America, Europe and other international
markets. Gildan is a supplier of active wear for the screen print channel in the United States and Canada, and also a
supplier for this market in Europe and Mexico. It sells socks and underwear, in addition to its active wear products, to
mass market and regional retailers in North America. In the United States mass market retail channel, Gildan is a
supplier of socks. The Company operates in one business segment non-fashion apparel. On March 31, 2010, the
Company completed the acquisition of Shahriyar Fabric Industries Limited (Shahriyar).

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Public, NYSE:GT)


The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) is a manufacturer of tires. The Company, along with its United
States and international subsidiaries and joint ventures, develops, manufactures, markets and distributes tires for
applications. Goodyear also manufactures and markets rubber-related chemicals for various applications. The
Company is an operator of commercial truck service and tire retreading centers. In addition, it operates more than
1,500 tire and auto service center outlets where it offers its products for retail sale and provides automotive repair and
other services. The Company manufactures its products in 57 manufacturing facilities in 23 countries, including the
United States. During the year ended December 31, 2009, Goodyear operated its business through four segments:
North American Tire; Europe, Middle East and Africa Tire; Latin American Tire, and Asia Pacific Tire

Hanesbrands Inc. (Public, NYSE:HBI)
Hanesbrands Inc. is a consumer goods company with a portfolio of apparel brands, including Hanes, Champion,
Playtex, Bali, L’eggs, Just My Size, barely there, Wonderbra, Stedman, Outer Banks, Zorba, Rinbros and Duofold. The
Company designs, manufactures, sources and sells a range of apparel essentials, such as T-shirts, bras, panties,
men’s underwear, kids’ underwear, casualwear, activewear, socks and hosiery. It operates under six segments:
innerwear, outerwear, hosiery, direct to consumer, international and other. In October 2009, the Company completed
the sale of its yarn operations. In November 2010, the Company acquired GearCo, Inc., known as Gear For Sports, a
seller of licensed logo apparel in collegiate bookstores and other channels.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc.(Public, NASDAQ:RRGB)
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin), together with its subsidiaries, is a casual dining restaurant chain
focused on serving burgers. As of December 27, 2009, Red Robin had 21 franchisees, which were operating 133
restaurants in 21 states and 2 Canadian provinces, and it had eight exclusive franchise area development
arrangements with those franchisees. During the fiscal year ended December 27, 2009 (fiscal 2009), franchisees
opened five restaurants. The Company’s franchisee, Ansara Restaurant Group, Inc., has 21 restaurants located in
Michigan and Ohio, and Red Robin Restaurants of Canada, Ltd., has 19 restaurants located in Alberta and British
Columbia, Canada. Red Robin Restaurants of Canada, Ltd. is owned by an affiliate of Mach Robin, LLC, which is a
Red Robin franchisee. In 2009, the Company opened 15 restaurants. Red Robin provides detailed specifications of its
food ingredients, products and supplies to its suppliers.

Synovus Financial Corp. (Public, NYSE:SNV)


Synovus Financial Corp (Synovus), incorporated in 1972, is a diversified financial services company and a registered
bank holding company. Synovus provides integrated financial services including commercial and retail banking,
financial management, insurance and mortgage services to its customers through 30 wholly owned subsidiary banks
and other offices in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee. As of December 31, 2009, it had
approximately $32.9 billion in assets, $27.4 billion in total deposits and $2.9 billion in shareholders’ equity and its
banks ranged in size from $221.5 million to $7.2 billion in total assets. Synovus bank subsidiaries offer commercial
banking services, including commercial, financial, agricultural and real estate loans, and retail banking services. In
addition to its banking operations, the Company also provides a range of other financial services to its customers
through the wholly owned non-bank subsidiaries.
