Browser Check
Remote Lab Environment

While attending AlienVault USM training, you will be provided with your own lab environment. This
lab environment will allow you to gain hands-on experience the USM. In order to insure your
network is not blocking access to the remote labs, we have provided the following to test your
access. Please note: You must complete this test from the location that you will be using to attend
the training. This test will be testing access through your firewall to insure required ports and
services are not being blocked.

Browser Check
Once you launch the browser check, you will see the Browser Check Page as shown below. If you
do not receive a green check on each of the tests, please work with your network support to allow
these checks to show as green.

When you have all boxes displaying a green check mark, then click on the Test RDP Access link.
This will download a small application to your browser, CheckRDP.rdp. Click this link to begin the
RDP test.

 Once you have launched the check you will see the following warning. Click Yes on both
warning screens to continue.

Successful completion of the RDP test will display as shown below. This completes your
browser and network test.

 If you are using a Mac operations system, you may need to download an RDP client in order to
use RDP.

Successful completion of this test will ensure you are ready to begin experiencing the
AlienVault USM when your training starts.
