Greetings to all of us ...

We thank God for the abundance of His grace so that we can gather here today. Here I stand as a representative of
the graduates to give a few words at the moment of graduation ceremony.

My dear fellow graduates,

Finally we get here today, the day when we wear our graduation uniforms and gather in this auditorium. We have
undergone series of academic classes, and taken various tests and obstacles and after all we all can officially hold a
bachelor's degree. Especially for my friends in the Public Health Department of transfer program, it is still clear to
my mind when we first set foot on this campus as new students. We had been students before, that came from
different background of campuses we met here to achieve the same goal. The first day we met, we saw new faces
full of enthusiasm. We brought the enthusiastic spirit to start the days as new students again.
Until now, even though it was only 1.5 years which for me was quite a short time and most of the time we only met
on Fridays and Saturdays, yet the pride remains. I am satisfied that I managed to be part of the campus. There were
many days gone by with our unforgettable stories. We learned the academic subjects, the learning system, and got
acquainted with the lecturers.

My beloved fellow graduates,

During my time as a student, I once felt the ups and downs of life. Got bad grades, was scolded by a lecturer, was
late to classes, and had no idea what to do. This campus is a witness of what happens to someone who is looking for
identity. We have got new friends who have become like family. We have also reflected and been advised by our
seniors and lecturers, not only about academic subjects but also life lessons.
A few months ago we have undergone field training, lots of lessons and new things that we got. Apparently there are
still people outside who do not understand or feel indifferent about health. Therefore, we as a remarkable generation
and promoters in public health, we must be able to be role models for our society and environment. As stated in
Blum's theory, the environment is the biggest factor in influencing public health. For that we who live in an
environment must be able to influence something that is good for health.

My beloved fellow graduates,

Our success as students is not determined by how good or high our grade is. And it is not seen from how many
trophies and contracts we take. And for sure it is not assessed from our workplace in the future. It is merely only the
process during the study that plays an important role. Living the process with all the stories is the way of life that we
will always remember. Especially my comrades in the transfer program, it's really a joy we can feel the graduation
again. Not a few of us who have had enough experiences about the workplace. More or less we have felt the bitter
sweetness of life, how we tried to find jobs, how people looked at us. Hopefully with the step-up of education in our
degree, we are increasingly mature in responding to it.

Friends that I love,

Hopefully our pride and enthusiasm that we feel today continue to exist. Show how proud we have been to graduate.
It is not just a symbol of bachelor, but also it is the beginning of implementing our successful process of students.

At last, I would like to say thank you to all those who contributed to us until we were able to graduate today, for our
beloved parents and families, we thank you for all the support financially, emotionally, and spiritually. For all the
shortcomings, I represent all graduates asking for the greatest apologies.
Hopefully this campus will be more developed and developing to produce the next generation of the nation in the
field of health.
Bill Gates once mentioned in his speech, “to keep being a hungry soul”. Hungry in this case is to be someone who
continues to seek knowledge and thirst for new things. Let us together be a people who are useful for the
community, make the university proud.
Thank you very much! Horas!
