What seems to be the strategy for Boise’s competitive positioning for its
automation systems?

He focused most of his attention on developing and improving his products, but the
problem was that he was focused only on the product and did not take into account
what consumers needed from them, and also the problem that he did not consider the
capabilities of competitors. I think the main mistake he made was that he first
produced the product for a certain amount and only then tried to sell it. Also
noteworthy is the fact that this company was a competitive competitor. He made a
mistake in the beginning and did not study the competitors and the market, I also
mention that he tried to put a high price on the products, but this is the wrong case in
the main cases, that's why so many mistakes were made in sales.

2. What were Boise’s major strengths and weaknesses?

It has a new product line and it is confident in the strength of its own company in
the market, and this is the biggest weakness for the company. Due to the high price,
the company has not been able to conclude the largest contract, and I also think that
the company does not have its own right strategy and it makes mistakes at every step,
they do not analyze the needs. And its strength lies in the company's new high-
resolution graphics system monitors.

3. Why did Allison fail? What could he have done differently?

Allison made a few mistakes, but overall he didn't do much. His mistake was that he
devoted much of his time to contracts that put him at great risk, and he put in a lot of
effort. I think the important factor is to adjust the product to the customer and
ofcourse to the market, I think consumers will not buy an expensive product they are
not unsuitable to pay. It is necessary to analyze the risks.
