Information Assurance/Security Specialist

We are looking for mission driven team player candidate with appropriate Certification to work as
Information Assurance/Security Specialist. In this role, the candidate will assist to:

1. Determine, develop, and implement information assurance/security standards and

procedures.
2. Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.
3. Establishes information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of
user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands
4. Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures
5. Analyzes and defines security requirements for computer systems which may include
mainframes, workstations, and personal computers;
6. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements;
7. Performs vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications during all phases
of the system development life cycle;
8. Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.
9. Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards.
10. Applies know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to
dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
11. Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
12. Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases
of the system development life cycle.
13. Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.

Experience and Certifications

Associate's Degree in an Information Technology related field with three (3) to five (5) years of
experience in experience in information systems, wireless networking, cybersecurity,
cryptography and systems security. Expect the candidate to have working experience
with the following:

1. Information systems fundamentals

2. Access controls, networking and malicious code activity
3. Basics of cybersecurity and cryptography encryption
4. Must possess one (1) or more of the following certifications:
5. GSEC - GIAC Security Essentials;
6. CompTIA Security+ CE;
