A DIFFERENT GUIDED TOUR

Do you think guided tours are the best way to get to know a city? Explain your reasons.

Travelling to a city that you haven´t been before it´s a unique experience. So, most of the
people think that every single thing have to be planned to have a better remember. For that
reason, they pay for basic guided tour that go to the monuments that are more famous and
everybody have seen at least in a photo or video on television, in a book…

I don’t think those guided tour are useless, because they are made by people who have
studied about it, but on the other hand sometimes I prefer speaking to the local ones and ask
them for special places, secrets of the city hiding spots…

To sum up I think guided tour are productive but the best way to get to know a city is to
explore it, walking through the streets, having time to look at all, having conversations with the
locals…
