Subject: Proposal Essay

Proposal Overview: The issue I want to discuss regarding my Passion Project is if Child

Protective Services should take away children from homeless families until the parents are stable

again.

Relation to Passion Project: This proposal is related to my Passion Project since I am focusing

on the unfair are horrible living conditions families and children have to face in the shelter

system. This builds off of my previous rhetorical analysis because I mentioned how the children

who grow up in the shelters often gain many mental and physical life-long issues as well as

having trouble developing academically and socially. A child's growth and health are very

important in their early years of life and without this, the child's condition could worsen or

develop more issues in the future.

Proposed Steps Toward Completion: To complete this proposal, it is at least necessary for

CPS services to inspect the conditions of the homeless children. If CPS won't let a child stay in a

home that puts them in danger, why would they let a child stay in a space that puts them at risk

for their health and mental stability? If these conditions get passed, further precautions should be

made for children to have a chance to live in a healthy and stable environment.
