A SCHOLARSHIP FOR ME

Since I was very little, I always wanted to be an accountant,

analyzing numbers, accounting data and managing the money
that enters and leaves the companies. That is why I decided
to study public accounting, at the moment I am in the last
semester and I am doing my internships in a company and
apart from the knowledge of the university I think that the
knowledge that I have acquired working is too important since
I have learned knowledge in the administrative area of the
company. But I think I still have a lot to learn, that's why after
finishing my career I want to do a double degree with
business administration, since I believe that there are a
number of subjects that can perfectly complement my career
as microeconomics, macroeconomics, planning Strategic,
business diagnosis among other subjects that I think can help
me even more to strengthen my areas of intellectual
knowledge and because I cannot manage to grow internally in
the company.
In the university I have always been undertaking the projects
that have been assigned to me since it is in practice that one
really learns to handle various situations in professional life,
since I started my accounting career I felt that I needed from
the beginning to soak up the subject Quickly from the topics
and I started to read and do a little more research on the
topics of finance and cash flow in large industries.
I especially like this scholarship because it is a unique
opportunity to complete my career and my knowledge and in
this way grow as a professional and as a person in my area,
since I am passionate about studying because I think it is the
only thing that differentiates one from other professionals and
more if it is with a scholarship because it would be great to
take these opportunities.
This would be a spectacular way to further shape my
knowledge, since apart from being an accountant, I would be
a great business administrator because these careers
complement each other perfectly.
I know that this knowledge will open many doors for me at a
professional level, I believe that enterprising people have and
must take risks in order to be someone in life; for this we must
take risks and assume them responsibly.

Regarding the requirements to access a scholarship to study

business administration, they are very complicated, but I
believe that as in life nothing is impossible, first of all you must
have finished your career with a high academic average, you
must complete the documents required by the institution, and
the interview with the dean of the faculty, for this you must be
convinced first that you want to continue studying and second
you have to take into account that what we like is not always
what we imagine.

That is why I hope to be part of one of the Fulbright Colombia

scholarships, to study my ten-semester business
administration career in the United States, to complete it and
return to the country to practice and why not teach everything
I have acquired.
Lastly, I am an enterprising woman, brave with a hunger for
knowledge, I would like to continue growing on a personal and
intellectual level and I believe that this scholarship is crucial to
be able to achieve my objectives in the medium and long
term.
The purpose of taking the English course offered by SENA is
to strengthen my language to face this challenge with the
greatest responsibility, since I believe that it is very important
to reinforce this language on a daily basis and what better
way to study in a native language country.
I hope that my knowledge, my qualities, my dreams and goals
in the medium and long term will be of great help to acquire
the scholarship offered by Fulbright Colombia, to study in the
United States.
