1. Descriptive statisitics is an area of statistics that describes the data.

Examples: construction of frequency distribution table, creating graphs,


producing tables, numerical measures such as mean, median and mode.
Inferential statistics is making a generalization about the population based
on the sample. Example: to determine if there is a signficant difference
between males and females in terms of weight

2. Correlation analysis will be used specifically the Spearman correlation. This


type of correlation is used when one of the two variables is in ordinal scale.
In this case, educational attainment is an ordinal variable.

3. Since the p-value=0.038 is less than 5% level of significance, there is a


significant difference between the performance of Section A and Section B.
