To whom it may concern

It is my honor in advocating and supporting Hannah Mellick in this letter. Hannah and I
have been able to get to know each other and work closely together over this past year. We have
attended classes together at the College of Western Idaho since August of 2019.

Hannah comes from a long line of teacher and knows how much a teacher can have an
impact on a student. She will be attending Boise State University in the fall of 2020 to become a
special needs education teacher. Hannah has a big heart is very passionate about advocating for
those who don’t have a voice and making sure their voices are heard. She works hard in her
studies and is constantly trying to be a better person than she was yesterday. From my own
experience with working with Hannah, I know she is going to be an unbelievably great teacher. It
is definitely clear that she cares about working with students and help them succeed in her
classroom.

I am certain that Hannah will be able to create a positive atmosphere in her classroom for
her students. She values inclusion and making sure everyone’s voice is being heard in her
classroom. Hannah is so positive and hard working. I am certain that her future classroom is
going to be warm and welcoming for her students. She will most definitely have a strong
learning environment in her classroom.

For our duration at CWI, Hannah has been able to surpass her ability to demonstrate
perseverance working through difficult assignments. While she still able to bring joy and
excitement among those around her. She has worked to create examples that showcase her ability
to create a diverse curriculum for her classroom.
