Name of Lesson: We Can Be a Superhero

Grade Level: 5th Grade

Technology Content Standard Addressed: Creativity and Innovation- This will allow students to

work on their creativity as well as teach them.

Other Content Standard Addressed: Students will be able to identify the difference between

protagonist and antagonist.

Objective: Students will understand the use of digital websites. They will be able to identify

protagonist and antagonist.

Materials:

-Pencil

-Paper

-PowerPoint

-Computer Lab

Suggested Group Size: 3-4 students per group

Procedures:

1. Students will get into groups of three to four students.

2. They will read a passage describing what a protagonist and antagonist, then it will be

discussed in their groups.


3. Students will write a story portraying a story including a protagonist and antagonist-

maybe more than one.

4. Students will create a PowerPoint about what they know while using their story

characters as examples.

5. Students will have computer lab on Wednesday 9/2 and Thursday 9/3 from 10:30 to

11:30 to work on their projects.

6. The students will turn in their PowerPoint along with their story upon presentation.

7. They will present their PowerPoint and receive a grade.
