Last February 14,2020 was a very blessed day that was given by the

Almighty Creator where all TVL-ICT students together with their adviser, Mr.

Jaypee D. Pedrigal conducted a tree planting and community service at KFB

Farm, Sitio Sukol, Poblacion, Alitagtag, Batangas.

The program was started with prayer that was led by Rachel Anne A.

Tamayo, ICT Club President. Formerly the owner discussed the rules and

regulations of the farm. Afterwards, the simple energizer was led by the Alfinity

Groover dancer and also ICT student no other than Mark Joseph O. Satingin. We

proceeded to the next part of the program which is tree-planting activity. This tree

planting activity would also help the student to raise awareness on the

importance of trees. The students believe that the best way to inspire a love for

nature is to start teaching them at a young age. By having students learn every

aspect of tree planting and care, from picking a species to putting it in the ground

and everything in between, it becomes second nature to them. They learned how

to plant and care for a garden. And now they understand why the practices

taught to them are important to become a well-being.

After planting, the students continued their activity by making their tents

that consumed almost half of an hour. While waiting for the foods the first game

was started which is the Batuhang Bola that were tested the flexibility and

endurance of the students. The next thing that they have learned is not giving up

despite of the pain in the game named Tug of War. After the two consecutive

games they have their break. There are two trails that must be solved by groups.
It was very difficult to solve but because of their teamwork they easily answered

the mystery words which are the Great Discover and Memories of Adventure.

This activity shows the love for the Palarong Pinoy and all about having unity.

Despite of being an ICT Students they overcome the next activity which is

cooking. They learned how to make an alternative stove that can be found only in

their surroundings. It measured also their patience. Later they continued their

next game up to the last game. For the last part of the program and for the

waited moment of everyone, they will catch native pigs that everyone knows that

is very difficult.

The program was ended by cleaning their things, happily went up to their

vehicles and left the KFB Farm with the huge smile on their faces.
