1) What do you observe when water is added to quick lime? Name the product formed. Write
the balanced chemical equation for the reaction.
2) Why does not a wall immediately acquire a white colour when a coating of slaked
lime is applied to it?
3) Following equation represents thermal decomposition of ferrous sulphate:-
